What a shame for Eric. He obviously worked hard to get back into first grade. The Eels will be poorer without him in the short term.

Tim Auremi is out for the season. Happened at the broncos game.

Spoke to his bro last night and he recons he'll have a neck brace on for atleast 2 months. Bad news seeing he was developing nicely...

WITH their season already on life support, Parramatta are now struggling to field a fit team under the salary cap as Feleti Mateo yesterday joined a host of injured stars.
A torn bicep has already scratched Mateo from Friday night's clash against South Sydney, leaving the Eels without their frontline halves pairing after regular No. 7 Kris Keating last night underwent surgery for a broken jaw.
Keating is officially out for 10 weeks, and Mateo could join him for just as long should MRI scans taken yesterday reveal a severe tear. The 13th-placed Eels also lost Weller Hauraki (ankle) for up to four months yesterday, while skipper Nathan Cayless is in extreme doubt as he continues to feel the effects of a serious concussion suffered in Sunday's loss to Manly.

Yeah, Anthony Mitchell is still injured...... funnily enough I'm pretty sure someone that looked like him played on Saturday night.

So much for weekly updates.

If we are still a chance of making the 8 expect KK to be back by round 17-18. A broken jaw takes 3 months if you want it to, he could no doubt be back in 2 month with a surgical pin incerted (I assume they would do that, almost always do with league players to help strengthen break).

Any updates on Mateo and Keating your boys have been going well but Mateo will really add some sting to the back row, where will Keating play half next to Mortimer or off the bench.
