Jets on nine again on saturday vs Bears, remembering the last big clash between these 2 teams the 1943 Grand Final.

Be interested to watch this game for a few reasons

1. Our fullback Mr Kennedy
2. Our Spine the oldest player is 21
3. Uele if he plays
4. Gray is injured so Bessie gets a start
5. Williams vs Tracey a former shark
6. Brailey vs Farah good test for the youngster

The Jets game actually starts at 1pm, for the benefit of Channel 9. I quote the Jets' website.


Please take note that this Jets-Bears match will commence at 1.00pm. Anyone arriving before midday will receive half price entry ($5) and a free Frank Hyde Shield stubby holder (while stocks last).

Glebe-Burwood will play Hills District in a Ron Massey Cup competition match at 3.00pm.

It was listed at 3pm on the Sharks website yesterday when I checked. It's since been changed

Jets up 22-18 with 5 to go. Was down 18-10. Katoa scored off a Jack Williams line break.

Addison Demetriou ex Manly has made a string impact.

Last play off the game Bears score. Norths kick from the sideline to win. Katoa needed to just punch the ball out. Went to take it and had it stolen in the air
