All the round 21 results so far and an updated competition table can be found at www.leaguetv.com.au . The in-detail ladder will be updated after tomorrow's Manly-Wests match. Big surprise in the Tigers-Wenty match. I'm told Balmain-Ryde were sensational....their best performance this year (even better than their mauling of Central Newcastle a couple of weeks back). And the Cobras keep rolling on. Going to be a very interesting final round!

Worried about finishing 6th actually. Could very well need a win to stay alive in the first week. Certainly weren't thinking that way a month ago. If the Tiges and Cobras make it into the 8 which is a possibility 3rd and 4th may not be safe.

The minor premiership is almost a certainty for North Sydney now. It'd be difficult for Wenty to catch us on for and against.

Cronulla and Balmain are both in great form and would be big threats in the finals.

Windsor beat Central Coast 18-14
24-18. Wenty over Canterbury
28-16. Balmain over Newtown

Looks like Cronulla will need to win or draw to make the finals. Balmain have made it. Auckland won't be able to make it .

It looks like it will be:

Balmain vs. Manly - winner to play Wentworthville
Western Suburbs vs North Sydney - winner to play Newtown.

The mighty Newtown Jets had a gutsy win over Windsor on saturday at Henson Park. Talking of gutsy, remember a former jets legend, Graham OGrady, well it turns out that one of the younger players from Saturdays gutsy win is in fact a relative of OGrady, who also plays with plenty of guts, Martin Kennedy. Kennedys grandfather and OGradys mother in law are brother and sister.

O'Grady's son Mark is in his 5th season with Wenty, although it is only this year that he has managed to get out of the A Grade and move straight into the State Cup side.

In fact Wenty have fielded 6 sons of former first graders this year - O'Grady, Reddy, Grothe, Wynn, Horo and Mortimer.
