No

At this stage a Norths player is implicated on his own and there is no mention of any club involvement.

A lower grader from NRL club South Sydney has reportedly been stood down as part of an investigation into allegations he used performance-enhancing drugs.

The Nine Network on Monday claimed Curtis Johnston, who plays for the Rabbitohs' NSW Cup feeder club North Sydney and has yet to play in the NRL, was at the centre of an investigation following a series of damning text messages.

Looks although the Manly club are in the clear as far as the Doc is concerned.

And you have to admit, this fellow wasn't born yesterday and I doubt whether he would jeopardize his career by getting involved illegally and of course I'm being bias towards the NRL side of this issue.

Just a question, out of curiosity : if Curtis Johnston isn't actually signed to a NRL club but is signed with Norths, is he even technically a NRL player?

Then the NRL may have grounds to sue Danny Weidler for misrepresentation?

lol oh come on man.

The way the Norths / Souths arrangement works is that Norths are given access to a handful of Souths contracted players each weekend. The rest of the team is made up of Norths contracted players. If Souths decide they'd like access to a Norths player, they actually have to sign the guy to a new and seperate contract.

On the whole, the Norths contracted players have nothing to do with South Sydney.

They train seperately under their own coach at North Sydney oval.

Can the souffs fans stop posting in this thread.

There are too many of you in this thread.

You're blocking up the thread.

Stop trying to defend your player and belt up.
