Disgraceful team.

Merrin? Thaiday? Fmd those two are shithouse. Mal is a nothing coach. The QLD team he coached was packed full of stars and so is this current Australian team full of incumbents.
Has he ever made a player? Even one?

As much of a merkin as he is, shouldn't players already be 'made' by the time they pull on a Qld or Australian jersey...? Not his job to develop players. He gets the cream of the crop and just has to get them up for one game typically.

Fair point but when it comes to Origin and International teams he always picks the same. In this instance, I don't think Merrin or Thaiday have done anything to warrant their spot so why not pick a W Graham or a Fifita or Vaughan or someone deserving? Don't think Mal is anywhere near as good as he thinks

I'm not a Sharks fan but I posted a message in the fight for Fifita Facebook group last year about how hypocritical it was that he was not playing despite being one of the best front rowers and I got almost 100 likes for it. Was robbed of the CCM for the same shit.

Good on him. Its a disgrace he was overlooked in the first place. Best prop in the game and his stats shit all over Woods and co.
