From what Ive seen thus far from Gunco he is an elite class fullback. Imagine what coin he would demand currently.
Whatever we paid we stole him.
If i could like this twice, i f**kin would .... i would guess he's on 400k or likely less ... he's still young n learning, with only one real nrl season under his belt ..... all these other merkins are demanding they want a million and settling for no less than 800k .... f**kin bargain!!

Coming into this season i was adamant Bevo should be fullback ... but im not so sure now

Pou Bear indicated we didn't need a game manager type. I asked that all the Premiership contenders seem to have one. If thats the case wouldn't it be beneficial to have one?
I said we don't need a game manager specialist. Every half can 'game manage' to varying levels. With two halves we'll do it much better than with just one.

Moses did ok as the sole half late last year for the tigers ... he must be able to manage a bit

I don't think game management is as important as territory management. And maybe I'm in danger of getting into pedantic areas here myself, but I think you can win a competition with any kind of halves so long as you can dominate territory. Lets face it, in a big finals game how often do the halves actually have a huge say in an attacking play? Often it's something a bit out of the box that breaks open a game where both sides are paying very close attention to ball control, or it's one team tiring. But usually the team that dominates territory wins the game.

To do that you need two kickers. I actually think Moses and Norman can be a very good halves pairing so long as we get the kicking games right. They are both major attacking threats if we can get the field position.
Pre-game Greg Alexander said they'll be an excellent halves pairing.

Yeah I reckon Gutherson would be on about $400k.

Bad - but possibly not as bad as first thought during the heat of the battle

We should only tar badger ... not bother with the feathers

Apart from that Moylan call (which Suity clarified correctly) they were shocking!

That first half when we were making it out of our own end, time and time again there should have been penalties against the Panthers, they apparently dominated us in every tackle and they were off side by plenty most of the time. Badger looked at them and didn't give a shit.

Then there was that dodgy strip call where the replay clearly showed we had no hands in there at all.

The knock on call that came off the foot. Funnily enough after that major cock up and Mannah ripping in they were good for the rest of the game.

I also think that the play where Au'va (however it's spelt) got the offload away on the 4th attacking their line, it looked on the replay like the Panthers got a hand to it. We then got a penalty against us after.

The penalties that were given to the Panthers in the second half to get their first try were phenomenal because Panthers had been doing that to us all afternoon and getting away with it.

They were just terrible. It's not often we get home ground advantage and today was another day it just didn't happen.

Oh yeah and the Gutherson "knock on".

Ultimately though the refs are always going to be garbage and you have to overcome them and kicking out on the full multiple times, dropping the ball cold and not seemingly having a plan to slow the game down when in front by showing patience will not get you far in this comp.

We need to be better against a good Cowboys team who may have Thurston back cause he will capitalise on our mistakes.

I'm dying to hear the Mannah/Badger exchange after that "knock on" call... It looked very interesting at the ground...

Badger is a disgrace. Gave us nothing. When he was boo'd off at half time he shot a smug grin up at the crowd. I knew we were in for an extra reeming in the second half.

Im glad Brown gave him a mouthful. Badger quickly blew a penalty and we forced a knock on. Kenny ran from the other side of the ground whooping it up as passed the muppet and gave Brown plenty of slaps on the back.

BTW Brown is a best forward purchase in a long time.

Brown's been excellent for us, as has Gutherson. Seems like every time he touches the ball he either breaks the line or throws a good pass.

The teams defence was good and we've improved on that, best for a while.

As for the refereeing today, well its amazing how after one bad performance from another game it seems to continue on with other games. That supposed knock on in the second half sums it up really of how terrible their performances have been.

Happy to get another win, hope we can make it 3 in a row against the Cows.

Good to see Kenny Edwards back as well, he seems to lift the team when he's on the field.

Still not the perfect game from Parramatta, but probably the most complete since the Dragons game. Still some skill errors, but for the most part the application in defense was there finally, and the heads didn't drop when things went against them.

Good win, considering it was 5 day turn around.

Don't want KE in the halves as it stuffs up our forward rotation and what he brings to the team.

Would rather use Gower.

Would be tempted to debut Dargan but, it has to happen sometime - another kicking option would be nice.
