To me as a sharks fan - when a guy like this passes away if l had a chance all ld say would be thanks.
What a beacon of toughness. To be so uncompromising against bastards like manly for our jumper.

Did any of you happen to see the facebook post that Wombat Eadie put up upon hearing of the great mans passing.

Amongst all the tributes and glowing recollections of Cliff, Eadie shared this.

Graemes young fellow was in the Royal North Shore hospital awaiting a bone marrow transplant (I believe it was.) At the time Cliff was working at the hospital. Wombat said that everyday he was on work he would make time to visit young Eadie and sit down and have a chat with him.

Old school league players. Total enemies on the pitch, complete comrades off the field.
