Round 5 tips and crowd

People continually say that the Roosters have no support and yet we are the biggest crowd pullers in the comp. And Miccle don't get too excited about Friday night's result. Let's see if Brisbane AND OTHERS can beat us when we get our full team back on the park. At the moment Easts resemble a fighter with both hands tied behind his back.

The double header should be at the SFS. We could get 40k there. And maybe with a more competitive and attractive line up of clubs.

sharks wont get a hugely dissapointing crowd, we never do. we have a core of atleast 11000-12000 who nearly always go. So 8000 is rediculous, also its Vaganas debut.

Im tipping 13000 around.

Manly v Easts 18,500 (really 22,000 +)

Sorry RC but you won't get over 19000 tonight. The penrith game got 22K because of the GF rematch - there were plenty of panther fans there and heaps of casual fans going along to check it out. The Dogs game got 26,500 most likely because there were 10,000 doggies fans... at least. IF brisbane had a bigger supporter base in Sydney then tonight would be a big one, but I'm predicting 15,000.

All up, another strong round for crowds -- average is above last year, and considering all the stress the game's been under, that's a fantastic result. 5 rounds in and going strong. The on-field action has been sensational.

Get set for a great round of footy. But awful crowds(except at the swans game). The bubble has burst and average figures will be 12-13000 here on in.
