No reason why Parra/Souths should not get 20k

Roosters/Brisbane - 20,126
Cro/NQ - 10,080
Warriors/Knights - 17,200
Double Header - 37,605
Penrith/Storm - 17,920
Souths/Eels - 19,280

This will be a good weekend for crowds. Are you sure 50k had been sold Doggie Diva?

Cheers,
Moffo

Sorry RC but you won't get over 19000 tonight. The penrith game got 22K because of the GF rematch - there were plenty of panther fans there and heaps of casual fans going along to check it out. The Dogs game got 26,500 most likely because there were 10,000 doggies fans... at least. IF brisbane had a bigger supporter base in Sydney then tonight would be a big one, but I'm predicting 15,000.

And I'm man enough to come back and say i was wrong by a long shot. I'm damn glad i was wrong too because 23K aint bad at all - well done roosters and broncos fans in sydney... plus any casual watchers that made it.

Now... where's RC to admit that our "Shetland ponies" totally outclassed them last night? not gonna happen

I think the Panthers v Storm clash will be close to a sellout, if it is a pleasant afternoon.

One thing I have noticed is that apart from the Warriors v Knights clash, all of the matches are in Sydney this weekend.

Was this a deliberate piece of programming, or just a co-incidence?

I think it's got something to do with a NSW tourism initiative. The Easter Show, Autumn racing carnival, and football all over the long weekend. There was a bit of a promo thing about it recently

I don't know the exact figure, but it was a damn good looking crowd at Ericsson again, considering that the weather looked pretty poor leading up to the game.

Maybe we should get rid of them

Still, there is no way that Tigers/Dragons and DOgs/Manly would've got 26,000 as separate games

Cheers,

Panthers 19,213 -- great figure, esp. against Melbourne!

26k's actually not bad for the double header, but it is probably the last of them we'll see.

Any updates on the Warriors crowd and the Parra crowd?

Exact figures of course.

I had 25,771 for the DH.
