Darius about to re-sign with Brisbane for four years

Kahu, Blair and Roberts to follow soon. Happy days! :)
All for considerably less than they could have sourced elsewhere

The joy of Bronco $$, nothing to see here, just ask a previous football manager :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

LODGE MAY STAY NOW

THE Matt Lodge saga has taken another twist which could see the controversial forward delay plans to quit rugby league.

The former Wests Tigers prop’s career took a massive hit after he was arrested in New York in 2015.

Lodge, 22, has been playing for Redcliffe in the Intrust Super Cup this season and the Broncos were hoping to sign him for next year.

But Lodge revealed inThe Sunday Mailthis month he was going to quit rugby league and was facing bankruptcy.

Just days after baring all in the revealing interview, Lodge met with NRL CEO Todd Greenberg and COO Nick Weeks – the two most powerful figures in the game.

The meeting took place in Brisbane on the day of the State of Origin decider.

Lodge, who has been sidelined with an elbow injury, was not given any guarantees but the meeting made him think twice about his future.

The Broncos are holding out hope that Lodge decides to keep playing and the NRL clears him to return next season.

Wow!

Stop it mate, you don't have to try lol, they'll eat it up for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. probably come back for some dessert too

Haha. Lodge would be a key signing if Brisbane manage to land him though. It'd probably kill off the Klemmer to Broncos talk.

It's been confirmed that he is likely to head back overseas. Apparently he's told teammates he will be leaving at the season's end.

This will surely will be the end of his NRL career. He has played at 4 clubs and under 6 different coaches and none of them could get him working properly. He is such a waste of talent and time but there will always will be someone who will throw money at him.

Ash Taylor price figure has been speculated a million a season. They are largely basing it on what Ben Hunt got from the Dragons. I could see the Titans getting close to it if they let Jarryd Hayne and his over-inflated salary go after next year.

By saying that I would have to see a lot more from Taylor to give him that kind of money. Throwing money at players on potential usually comes back to haunt you.

Dave Taylor heading to back to English Superleague from reports.

Canberra Raiders forward Dave Taylor set for new adventure with Toronto Wolfpack

Dave Taylor is poised to lend his weight to the ambitions of the Toronto Wolfpack to qualify for and ultimately win the English Super League, with the giant former State of Origin forward likely to make Canada his home next year.

Taylor, 29, will leave Canberra at the end of the season after only being offered another one-year contract by the Raiders.

So basically every half will be earning $1 million plus next season.

DCE still on ridiculous money? Lol
