I'll accept the answer because it came from a valid source, but my source says otherwise I'm afraid. My source has he played 237 first grade games for Manly between 1971-1983 scoring 78 tries (7 four pointers, 71 three pointers), kicking 914 goals and one field goal for a total points tally of 2070.

Yes, thats correct Chileman, we played our first grand final in 1951. The semi final win against St George on 15 September 1951 was the game our star halfback Wally McConnell broke his wrist, and was unable to play in the GF.
