Out of the $20m which you merged with us for.

Mark Cannon did the correct thing in pulling out of the JV after pressure from the Save the Bears supporters group, otherwise we'd have ended up like the Magpies are now, only sooner.

His visionary move was only going to be a success if Manly headed back to Brookie, renamed as the Sea Eagles and sat on their hands on the peninsula, leaving the game to rot elsewhere and leaving the Coast and north shore with nothing - a plight identified by D Gallop as the major attraction of the CC Bears bid.

It was a calculated risk based on the Manly admin not wanting to relocate permanently, because Peters/Vautin/Fulton said repeatedly, referring to Gosford, 'we can't wait to get out of this shithole'.

So thanks for being so frank Sea Eagles dinosaurs - all 3 have been seen off now but the CC and north shore and other decent fans of all clubs haven't forgotten the mugging we got from the club we helped form.

When we get a license all this crap can be revisited every derby in the stands...what fun! And if we don't get a license your club will be as dead as ours w/in 10 years as the last lights go out on league on the north shore - so better join up today at www.centralcoastbears.com.au

if Manly got so much Money, from the JV why were the Northern Eagles broke and kept asking for money from Both Leagues Clubs (wich got Knocked Back) and why were Manly 72hrs from Going out the Back Door at one stage......as the article in my last post points out the Bears have a History of being under handed to get their way

that fact will never change

According to the retraction you posted earlier, the opposite is true. Manly were apparently fine, according to your earlier post. So which is it - were they fine, or were they 72hrs from oblivion?

whichever will allow him to continue hating. Seriously, some (the two-toothed minority) Manly fans are like Nth Korea - stuck in a time warp, locked into a peninsula, kept in line through the creation of paranoia and misinformation to avert attention from their leaderships failings.

if you read the article again, it says we were not broke at the time of the merger,

As the JV went on both sides went to their leagues clubs to ask for cash (which was knocked back) because of low crowds at Gosford and paying Kimmorely 4 trillion dollars

at the end of the JV Max Delmege was asked to save the club from insolvency, so he wrote a Cheque for 1 Million Dollars

12 Months after the JV, when we were back as Manly, we were 72 Hours from going out the back door, that is when Max Delmege stepped in and sponsored us for 2.6 Million Dollars

have a read of this article

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/eagles-fly-to-the-brink-and-back-20110928-1kxfx.html

so my question stands if Manly got so much money from the JV, after the Bears were gone how come we were broke during, and after the JV

I supported the cc bears bid for "readmission" to the NRL until 2 years ago when a relatively benign article in the press about the sharks financial dramas was published. That grub Florimo stuck his head up and basically begged for the sharks to be cut loose, so the bears could take their place. They were ready apparently; absolutely ready to go. You'd think that a bloke who went through what he went though with his club being cut, he went be loathe to support any club going under. But he built fires under it. He promoted it.

I wonder how he felt when today the Sharks NSW cup team beat his only surviving senior team 72-0? SEVENTY TWO TO NIL.

f**k off Bears. I hope you never get back in. 72-0. And that was with the help of Souths reserve grade. You are pathetic.

have you always felt this insecure?
