Well done Copeland. Excellent chance for Smith to really thrown his name in the ring, all the Internationals failed so him making runs will look even better.

Cutting is one for the future, far more scope than that Victorian who is stinking up the Aussie side.

We got quite a few tall bowlers coming through the ranks suddenly, Cutting over 1.9m tall as well.

Steve Smith is in superb form, we need to see him in the ODI team or at the very least 20/20 squad very soon. I just want to see how he handles the big stage and it would be good to have him ready to go for the Ashes

QLD claimed 1st inns points by bowling out NSW for 244.

In reply Copeland has taken 2, taking his tally to 10 for the match.

how bad are the blues going, opening the bowling with a debutant and an all rounder

stocks are very low atm

Why they are openign with Moises is beyond me... He is a change bowler and could be a decent one once he pulls his finger out. Starc should have had the new ball surely.

How many chances will Moises continue to get to cement his place in the side?

Surely he will have to start performing soon to warrant selection. This whole being picked cause of 'potential' crap has been going on for years now for him. It's about time he starts getting some consistent performances on the board in all forms of the game.

Who knows how he captained the Ford Ranger Cup team earlier in the season with a career bowling Ave of over 40 and a batting average of under 20.

Agreed, he should be dropped for his own good. And then he should be made to earn his way back.

Given we keep picking Lambert as a bowler, Henriques is a must just so the two half bowlers can form the 3rd pace spot.
But agree he should be dropped, his form with the bat has been poor which is why hes in the team.

They sent in a night watchman to protect Warner?

Should be a good finish tomorrow, if the others can support Katich the Blues should get up
