Khawaja 58* at Lunch.

If he gets a hundred at the Gabba on top of his recent double, then he will be belting on the door for a 1st Test call-up.

Not that anyone will be taking much notice though - Punter and Hilditch need blokes like North in the team because he can throw 'handy' pies as a back up to Haury

Khawaja or anyone else for that matter can belt on the door all they like but with the dopes already in charge they won't hear it. If the bloke made 200 in this game he probably wouldn't get a look in.

there's been a ton of rain up here, so no doubt its a seamer's paradise

if it wasn't for Khawaja we'd be 5/39

Shame the likes of Clarke, Ssmith, Dougy (if fit) and Haddin couldnt be playing in this game. Would have been far better playing this and at least one other sheild game before the ashes as preparation.

But Hauritz is playing

Blues did really well to get 262 after the start they had. Could be a good match now.

NSW all out for 262

Rohrer top scored with 69, Khawaja made a solid 60 and Coyte scored a quick fire 48 off 49 deliveries.

Pick of the bowlers for Queensland were Chris Swan (4/56 off 19 overs) and young left arm bowler Scott Walter (5/63 off 16.4).

Queensland have just started their innings with Broad and Townsend opening.

Big fight back from the Blues IMO. Hopefully the Bulls can bat all day tomorrow and come away with a win.

Mark Cameron would have a Baggy Green by now if it wasn't for the injury toll he has had. I know how highly he is rated by players who play against him in Grade Cricket.
