New Bati for Mini Games
9/9/2009
So if we have the old players they would not have a chance to play in the trials. Navugona said all the eastern and western conference players have been given their programs but they would march into camp on Monday next week to begin preparation as a team. It is a blessing in disguise for us because this is a chance to get the new players to play at national level.
Nabua Broncos and Fiji Bati Alipate Tanis protégé Nemani Suguturaga are also in the Mini Games team. Suguturaga although a non-travelling reserve in the side travelled with them during the World Cup last year.
Navugona said Suguturagas chance of making the Pacific Squad team depends on the head coach, Joe Rabele to decide on having him in his team.
Navugona added although it would be a new look team, nothing is impossible and if the players do their part and play to their outmost best there is no question mark in getting the Gold medal.
We cant promise anything but if the players do their best then the chance of winning the gold is very good.
