Storm filthy with NSWRL

Qld cup feeder clubs are for all intents and purposes exactly the same as reserve grade sides. Certainly the same as newtown or norths or wenty. Especially the way manly ran sunny coast. They were even called the sea eagles ffs.

the Qld Clubs aren't reserve grade sides but true stand alone independent clubs. They raise their funds appoint their own staff and have their own players, they just get back some players from the NRL club.

Manly never ran the Sunny Coast they just dropped back some players. Next season the Storm will be doing that with them but they will still be an independent club and the Storm wont be fielding a team in Qld.

so who were Souths Logan and Sunny Coast the reserve grade for?

The Qld Cup clubs can live and thrive in their statewide comp without a few NRL fringe players dropping back.

Not really. That's why sunny coast lost 32 in a row or something. And souths went from premiers to well out of the finals.

As has been said, the sunny coast was manly as the sea eagles name implied and souths was canberra. There were more than a few players dropping back. It was all the senior players in their squad not picked in the nrl side. It was very similar to any nsw club and its reserve side and almost identical to the likes of newtown, wenty, norths, windsor, cutters, that central coast knights side and any other nsw cup side that has acted as a reserve side but had a stand alone identity.

Perfectly can't you understand the difference between fielding a team and having a few players play in another clubs team?

a few players play in another clubs team ?:sarcasm:
 wot rot ...

they had all their open aged contract players play that weren't playing NRL
& provided nearly all the funding & staff
If anything its the complete reverse
its just another clubs badge & Jumper with a few state cup players .. playing in an NRL clubs reserves side

I totally agree with the NSWRL's decision
you want us to support you
then you support us

the Storm are kidding if they think they're being hard done by

The draw for Qld's Cyril Connel & Mal Meninga cups is out, they have a Victorian Rugby League team playing in both comps this year

You may well find that there are very few locals in the Storms junior sides.
Just relocated kids, esp when they were in the SG Ball.

Wtf, there are lot of Victorian juniors in the Storm junior rep sides. The Storms 20's this year especially is filled with Victorian juniors.
