It's a brilliant product that is held back (or being destroyed, depending on your point of view) by incompetent management and a 'boys club' mentality at all levels of the game.

Well, if we lost Hunt, Vaughan and Dufty in the same year, perhaps we could be compared to the Tigers?

Yes, we’ve been run poorly like other clubs, our fans just like to bitch about it more and think we’re going worse than everybody else.

Our fans have a high standard. In truth, the only teams better managed that us in recent history are the big guns like Storm, Roosters and Broncos. We are definitely around the top 4-8 in that regard

Yep and why is that? Money, money money ....MONEY.

When you have rich benefactors propping up your club, it makes it a whole lot easier to manage. Add Souths to that list as well who had Russell pouring millions in the club.

Unfortunately, we’re one of the also rans who aren’t able to get that injection of cash and that’s been our biggest failing with the current management.

But when you consider the well published management failures of several clubs, The Dogs. Parra, Manly, Wests. Newcastle, the Gold Coast, the Warriors who have all had their problems in recent years, we’re not going as bad as many make out.

If we go deep into the finals and Doust leaves we could manage to get some decent TPA’s next season.
