It's sad that many of us (perhaps all of us) have this tendency to destroy something that seems too good to be true.

That's essentially what Ben Barba did. No one thought he could make it back to 2001 form, he virtually did. No one thought his team could win a premiership - they did.

So he snorts coke and gets his contract ripped up...

How was his form when he was 12 in 2001?

I don't get why people are upset with him going to union. NRL wouldn't let us register his contract, so we couldn't pay him. He hadn't been paid since October. Sure it could of been handled better and he would be here but that is a long time without pay.

Yes he shouldn't of done drugs etc.

Wish he was still here. We'd win the comp easily.
