Why Such a Big Deal about NYE?

Call me strange, But i see nothing at all speical about New Year's Eve, Most people seem to make a Song and Dance about it, Saying how great it is, I have to work real early tomorrow morning and Finish at 8am, I just can't wait to finish work so i can have two days off, I really couldn't give a toss about NYE at all, I think i will be to stuffed to do anything that night anyway.

To me it's just another day, My Finacee's Co-Workers asked her if i was going to take her anywhere on NYE and She said that i don't really care for it, To that she reckons they said was a little Strange, I love Christmas Day but hate NYE and New Years Day, As to me its just another day, Nothing Speical at all.

Dont rate New Years at all really. This year will be alright however. Got my sisters wedding on, so have a few there, then got the Perth Cup on New Years Day which is always good for drinking....and women. But yeah, couldn't give a toss that it is the new year
