I thought Nutley would be a great lock for us primarly because he can play 80 min, a top defender, quick on his feet as well. I also went for sullivan at 5\8 because I think he offers more than bird eg; can kick, will pass the ball and not step into the defence all the time, he can also play in the hooking position and halfback if noddy gets injured during a game.

hey id like someones opinion about bailey
now he probably wont make any reps any more now that hes back at 2nd row but do you thing now that hes left center that he will still be one of the stars of our team i think he will not play as good as he did as centre
and everyone what about mcgoldrick everyone never pics him is he crap or something i think he would be better than rieck after riecks ballina preformance

Definitely not faster .....the pigeon is a snail ......and he's a shirt grabber just like sullivan..... he's got a bit of size, and thats it

I left Merritt out due to his size next to Franze. Let him work his way into the top grade. I agree on the team being unbalanced with rieck and merritt playing..

Plus Mcgoldrick and Franze are supposed to be best friends so I reckon they could work out a good combination.

hey does anyone know how Gibbo went in that trial? and what the story was with him not being picked for a while?
I would rather have Gibbo at 9 than bosnich

I don't understand your continual bagging of Bosnich. He was one of our best towards the end of last year and that was after he was switched to hooker. His trial form has, according to all reports, been sound and he provides a great defensive capability. With Sully coming of the bench we have both attack and defence covered. I think they will rotate depending on the circumstance and we will see some special things from both of them. I have nothing against Gibbo, he is a valuable back up for either of them should they be injured but I rate him as our third best.
