I just want to have a bit of a moan about youtube but can't find any other threads on it.

I was going through a site that had links to old footage of rugby league on youtube, but on clicking every link i found that it had all be taken down due to:
"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by National Rugby League Partnership"

This particular link was a tribute to the immortals.

How can it be copyright under nrl partnership? the nrl didn't exist when these guys were playing and the stuff was recorded, the nswrl existed but not the nrl.

this stuff is probably owned by channel nine and i think to make the game grow they should release the footage so everyone watch.
