Maybe the raiders should just start paying overs for good players who are looking for some $$$

So raiders fans go from pretty much thinking Zillman is the bomb to saying he is a risky signing when many of you were saying how you needed to keep him at the Raiders :)

He did that in the very instance he did his 2nd ACL in 3 games
its not so much that he did an ACL let alone 2 in 3 games, its the ese in which the 2nd one went... he didnt have any external pressure applied, he didnt do anything abnormal. Infact moments prior he stepped of that same leg perfectly and raced 80 metres to score, no one within COOOE of him... so its no even a case of him coming back too early... his knee was 100%, and it collaspsed on him so easily... worrying signs for William Zillman

4 years is DEFINITELY a risky contract for the titans.

zillman IS the bomb, and is a huge loss for us. however, 4 years is indeed risky.

good luck to zilly, can't say the same about the titans though.

Meaning you don't have a clue what you're talking about. The Raiders salary cap problems related to 1991 anyway I believe (yes, one year only) and they were bonuses for reaching the grand final and making Origin and the test team.

Many, many teams have been guilty of this since. In fact, it's pretty much a yearly occurrence these days, in most cases by much more than the Raiders were over.

They illegally assembled a premiership winning team, much like the Bulldogs.

Keep on digging mate... You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Comparing it to the Bulldogs is laughable and about as stupid as it gets.

Whats laughable is your ignorance. They lured players to the club by offering them more, thus going over the salary cap. When they realised what a great team they had, the players decided to take a pay cut to remain in a successful team.
Sounds pretty similar to the Bulldogs in early 00s

As I said in the Raiders forum, I'm numb to this - I normally would be furious.

What's the point in the Raiders bothering with developing players anymore? It's clearly just a shopping centre for every other club with no heart or junior system. We could find and develop 4 immortals that came through together, but they'd all be poached within 5 minute of one another - so I say it again, why bother?
Because you can't attract good players?

Not to mention Outtamy's brain fart.

aswell as Ryan Hinchcliffe requiring surgury for a broken thumb, which adds another injury for the next 6-8 weeks

Raiders V Tigers is a deadset casualty ward fight this week

Oh look, the Knights and Panthers were found to have cheated the cap the year they won the comp. How interesting. Can I expect similar attacks from you on those clubs?

I know alot of teams go over the cap.
I was making the point that the Raiders were the first team go substantially go over the cap. This also happened to be in the year they won the comp. Raiders fans have obviously forgotten these facts or trying to ignore them.
