And we thought our past three seasons were bad... that line up is rancid.

How did that lot do better than our squads in the Kearney/Stuart/3P years?

Nathan Peats best buy since 2005.

The guy has been enormous for us. Considering what the top hookers are on these days, you'd have to think peats is on massive unders in terms of value. Didn't think he was that good and if he keeps producing these performances he could easily be our most important and best purchase full stop.

I remember a tweet he made to lussick last year where he promised him things would change this year. Well f**king done peatsy.

Totally agree, never new he was this good. The bloke is winner, tough as nails and an Origin standard player. Awesome performances. He is one tough bastard!!

Speaking of purchases does any one rate Norman ?

I'm still waiting for him to do something.

I thought Norman did alright last night, taking the line on on occasions and some decent kicks. He and Sandow didn't seem to be 100% at ease with each other yet, so I can expect more over the coming weeks/rest of the season.

Agree about Peats...full stop.

I like Norman a lot. He's steady and passionate and I think some of his kicking has been top shelf. Much tougher mentally than most of our recent halves.

Best is yet to come from him but he's going fine.

The best thing is that every member of out backline bar the wingers can put a player away for a try and three of them can create one with a kick. That's a heap more fire power and less predictability than previous years.

I like Norman. He has good footwork and has beat the first defender on a number of occasions this year without really breaking the line but has a few tackle busts. He often finds grass with his kicks (though he was putting them dead last night with some unlucky bounces). And he is passionate. Ive seen him fire up a few times. He plays with a lot of control.

Also, Peats is God.

I agree with you all.

Peats is unbelievably good.

Norman mightn't stand out, but he's dangerous every time he runs the ball and you can see him barking orders all game. I think he's going well. A quality player.
