Very harsh IMO.
Copped the backlash from the judiciary's knee-jerk reaction to the McLean incident.

4 weeks were added to McLean's sentence because of McKinnon's injuries. In effect Lousi copped the same sentence. Ridiculous.

I didn't even think it was a penalty. He didn't lift at all. It's not Lousi's fault the ball carrier ducked his head into the ground.

Locked the head and slammed him backwards. Pretty dangerous, probably moreso than the McLean tackle; could have been termed the same as grapple tackles, chicken wings of the past - contrary conduct I think?
Anyway 2 weeks was a pretty soft penalty in this current climate... stupid to fight it, now we miss our first choice lock for an extra week.

Ridiculous that the current situation (driven by the media mostly) can cause that big of an effect on a charge. It happens, of course, but it really shouldn't. This isn't the middle of a game where a ref has been told to look for specific things to clamp down on, they've had time to analyse the incident appropriately.

That said it probably was a suspension, and I don't really care that Lousi is out for 2-3 weeks anyway.. whenever he runs the ball I keep thinking he's about the drop the ****ing thing! We have replacements.

I agree. I thought it was more dangerous than McClean's. Thankfully for Cory Patterson the outcome was a hell of a lot better. Luckily, and thankfully.

Yeah whenever I see a tackle like this, I visualise how I'd feel if someone did it to my favourite Warrior. In this case, I'd want a suspension - no doubt about it. Lousi's tackle arguably showed much more intent than the McLean one, which is why I think he's lucky.
