Always love seeing the Storm lose and I have absolutely 0 sympathy for them but what I am most disappointed about is this is yet another game decided by the refs. It is truly spoiling the game for all. Who wants to go to a game and watch their team get ripped off every week because the refs decide who is going to win?

To his credit unlike Toovey all Bellyache said when it went his way that they were lucky and it was a close call. On the Melb try this week against the Raiders the video angle was rediculous and inconclusive so the VR had to go with the onfield referee. I do agree with Belamy and I've been saying this for the last year that the ref shouldn't be pressured into making a call on a try if he doesnt know, that is totally obsurd and creates a situation which has happened to us time and again that if there's not good footage to show the contray that the try goes with the referee's guess who also could've been unsighted. One that irks me is the grounding of the ball if there are multiple defenders obscuring the view they somehow disallow a try if you don't have a camera angle to see it was grounded......the rule is you have to ground the ball not that you have to have a camera angle to prove it! The benefit of the doubt should always go with the attacking team and if the referee is unsure then he should call a try rather than guess and then force the VR to overule if there is footage to prove that

Melb are making a lot of errors and if they can eliminate them they will still be hard to beat as theyre still quite daunting physically and have some great footy minds however before the season started my predicion was they'll finish 7th

Just as grubby as ever!
