Tedesco to the Raiders?

I could understand the rumours of him going to Roosters or Bulldogs, teams that are winning and have good squads.

But Canberra?

What did they offer? 2 million a year?

I don't support cheque book teams, they are killing rugby league, so this rumour doesn't have my support. Having said that, we probably could afford to pay double anyone else given the ridiculous quality we have lost in recent times (who haven't been replaced by anyone).

The Raiders have lost Dugan, Ferguson, Thompson, Milford and will likely punt Campo, TLL, White, Robinson and perhaps Shillo at the end of the year All they signed last year was rubbish and other than Papalii and Wighton they would not have had massive upgrades to dole out.

So they can afford to pay the massive overs they must have to. Even that probably wont be enough.

I severely doubt any of those players mentioned end up in Canberra. We should be looking at which players are playing reserve grade this week and see if there are any value in luring them away from their current club. Guys like Inu come to mind...

Proctor is step 1 in 'sticky's big book for coaching geniuss', sign as many backrowers as you possibly can.

Won't be long before step 2 is achieved, screw around with the development of one of the game's best young halves until they have zero confidence and you can blame losing on them. I really fear for Cornish's career under sticky. He should be in the halves ahead of fat old man campo and the centre. But it's ok, sticky doesn't have the answers atm, please try again later.

Maranta would be a starter in the Raiders team week in week out. Plus you guys are paying Shillington, TLL, White, Campese, McCrone and don't get me started on your hookers. Funny thing is we might be playing Maranta, but it's to play reserve grade, you guys are paying the rabble to play first grade.
