Ps. I don't know if the other jackets will have writing on the back but here's the saints one

Interestingly they've done it as a stgeorge heritage rather than SGID

Aren't they called the St. George Illawarra Dragons and weren't they formed in 1999?

They took over the Steelers in 1998 and partially relocated. But in every meaningful sense they are the St George Dragons.

But in all seriousness, what is the matter with you people? They have decades of history, why would they ignore that when it's a useful marketing tool. Many of their fans are life long Red v men and women, they'll pay for something that acknowledges their heritage. It's smart business.

I think thats the point...

This is a heritage jumper for old team. its why it says 1921, why it doesnt have "illawarra" and why theyre selling it out of Kogarah (if i read that correctly).

They might come out with a Steelers one as well (but thats more a debate about equality than historical accuracy).

They didn't partially relocate, stop saying that.

This is just a personal bias, but i would love to see emblems like this on jerseys....

Not necessarily "PE" or "WT", but just some basic derivative of the clubs image that can be expressed in a Black-and-White logo in the most basic and recognisable way possible (similar to what Souths already do).

With the current logos, they are so complicated it takes a minute to know what youre looking at. If they were to make the team-chest logo the most basic, recocnisable image of the club (the fancy K for the knights, a lightning bolt for the storm, ect) it would massively improve recognisability with merchandise and sponsorship ads.

Obviously keep the traditional logos (put them on the sleeve, could even make them bigger there). But with the initial image, make it as basic and recognisable as possible (think: McDonalds, Apple, Coca Cola)

but again just personal bias...

cont...

It wouldnt even need to be a huge change, just have logos in black and white so they are instantly noticable an unmistakable.

They went from playing all their games in Sydney to playing half of them in Wollongong while wearing the same exact jersey and basically the same name. Partial relocation.

No, it was a joint venture with the Steelers, they play half their games at the Steelers' ground and half at Kogarah, I.e. they now cover both clubs' old areas, they didn't relocate anywhere.

Pretty cool, leeds are playing catalans dragons in leeds 1 week before the Tour de France stage 1 commences in leeds. Wearing a "yellow jersey" to commemorate the occasion with rumours catalans will wear a "polka dot" jersey.

Normally not a fan of these type of jerseys but must say the idea behind this one, and the execution, it top notch

Sharks jersey is going nowhere until ASADA concludes.

I'd like to see them in something simple like the Rabbits 2014 heritage jersey
