Paul Gallen a future Immortal?

I would say no to Gallen ever being an Immortal, I have seen far too many better players in my 30 plus years of watching league, Gallen is ok but he is a long way from being one of the games elite players.

The last immortal led his side to the spoon in 2005 after taking up half their salary cap. Gallen needs to at least match that effort.

I challenge you to name the hundred players more deserving of the immortal status than Fulton. You'd be lucky to name five who, incidentally, are already immortals.

It is apparent that you have never seen Fulton play and nor has your father, who was probably pissing nappies at the time.

On the question of Gallen being an immortal. No. Being one of the best forwards in the game over the past five years or so doesn't cut the mustard. His lack of achievements over that period denies him of such "greatness".

I've seen Fulton play and I could name at least a hundred that brought people to their feet as easily as he did

Not even close. Neither is Cameron Smith nor Greg Ingli$

Neither of these guys are absolute standouts over players that have played in the past. Is Gallen any better than Ray Price or Bradley Clyde, no.

Is Cameron Smith or Ingli$ any better than the great players I have seen over the last 40 years, def not.

I have to say that Lockyer def should be eventually but I have my doubts that Meninga should be. Especially at the end of his career as a player he was not that great, maybe with the SOO coaching (Although the input there is up for debate as well) but who knows

Judging by the last addition to the immortals. Gallen will be next.
