Slater never hits the line on a kick return. Dive to the ground or pass to a winger in a worse position. At least Boatboy would return with aome punch.

I called Slater a cat last night and my cat ran straight at me to prove me wrong.

The guy could've been a jockey instead of a rugby league player, and has seen video of Brett Hodgson being dragged over the sidelines by Gordon Tallis.

You can join the dots (hopefully - P.M. me if you need help).

Every time Slater passed on Wednesday night, the winger was able to gain territory that Slater would not have.

Boyd must have been filthy every time Slater passed it to him. Darius loathes taking hit-ups in his own 95.

You're right. Passing to that behemoth Boyd while he was flat footed was far more effective than continuing to run at speed.
Looking at Hodgson and saying his courage was useless is admirable.

Dives or passes rather than be tackled. Studs grounded player's faces, punches players being held; karate kicks to 'protect himself'. You can join the dots.

Skillful and quick, definitely. Brilliant opportunist; kind of like a jackal. How would he go in a team without Smith and Cronk?

If a Kangaroo squad was being picked now, no doubt Tim Sheens would pick Slater at FB.

Slater does 10 times the work load Boyd does. Its reasonable to share the hit ups.

You are seriously writing this dribble? Ray Warren rightly calls Slater the best fullback of all time - but what would he know over the brilliant Drake?

"Karate kicks to protect himself" ... how many times has he done that over hundreds of games and you bring that up. Talk about overlooking the elephant to spot a flea!

If you think Slater just hangs off Smith and Cronk's coat tails, then just put anyone at fullback at Melbourne.

In the mean time ... wipe you're mouth ...

History will judge Slater as the fullback with excellent positional play but also with a filthy cheating streak in him and enough "star" status to avoid the attention of the refs.

There was once a time when QLDers would be up on their high horses lecturing NSW fans about loyalty and faith. Now after their first series loss in 9 years they want to start dropping players who are considered best ever

Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and it had been NSW who won 8 straight, most QLDers would have committed suicide after 5 let be posting on here.

Lol no mate history will remember him for being the greatest fullback of all time. Every fullback now is being compared to him.

Ray Warren calls Sam Thaiday "Jonathon Thurston". I guess it's hard to differentiate a bit fat guy with long hair from a thinner bloke wearing headgear. He talks complete shit all the time; if he's your expert witness you are f**ked. Pillbug isn't fit to tie Graham Langlands shoelaces.
I know you Queenslanders are all related, but blind loyalty goes a bit far.

It's hard to understand what Bunnieman is saying with Inglis' dick in his mouth

I think it's a terrific idea personally. What, with Tate gone, it seems like the perfect time to make a needless change to replace a bloke who is playing well with a bloke who, well, isn't, but can also more than capably play in a position other than fullback. The time is right.

Billy Slater IS the best fullback of the modern era. And he's been sublime over the past two months, as well as being Qlds best over the first two games.

So why would you move him to the wing to accommodate lazy GI?

You wouldn't. Only BM would consider such a stupid move.
