Did Inglis play? Wouldn't know he wasn't even on the field such was his involvement.

I think slater on wing

GI fullback

Boyd Centre
With Slater on his wing

NEVER DAVE TAYLOR, Chris Mcqueen,

Matt Scott is so overated!!!
Sam Thaiday and Nate Myles are better go forwards,

We may need to blood Daniel Vidot for Tate
but Vidot may be susceptible on bombs

we need extra kickers so blues won't know who to run at on 5th tackle options like having jake friend on cameron smith play lock and pass it to cameron smith to kick

the kickers on both teams were targeted so quickly and tackled and rushed up on
but they didn't rush up on hodkinson when he scored

BM goes for Queensland, like a lot of Souths fans because their hacks don't get picked for NSW...I think...they change their stances on a daily basis.

Lol so true

Both of my souffs supporting mates support qld because we won't pick sutton etc...they used to go on about Merritt although something put a stop to that

The Merritt selection was a player past his best clearly but Sutton should have been picked. He is the form 5/8 of the comp. We won but J Reynolds was ordinary. I hate this philosophy of picking halves combinations.

But the bigger injustice is sticking GI in a corridor. He is used to playing fullback now. That is where he trains week in week out. It is so much harder to contain him when he is running the ball back AND roaming all over the field in the red zone.

Jarryd Hayne won a World Cup out of position in the centres, looks like Greg Inglis can't replicate that in Origin.

Jarryd Hayne + Reggis Bush > Greg Inglis

He did it in 2012 and 2013. Idiot.

So basically Greg Inglis failed the first time NSW didn't pick Mitchell Pearce and the first time Hayne plays the whole series at FB,Greg Inglis can't beat a proper NSW team is what you're saying, cheers.

Slater completely owned Inglis when Melbourne played Souths. He wasn't 100% but he is still a master at the back, much easier to kick away from Inglis or turn him around.

Maybe if Slater was playing shite. But he's been one of their best.

No he hasn't. He did nothing in game 2 and in game 1 he only made breaks when people fell over. Whenever he was met by defenders actually on their feet he had the penetration of a wet paper bag.

DCE was shit tonight i know he was injured but he blew at least two tries with selfish plays and wasnt patient enough, id 100% expect Cronk to resume position
Not at all.
DCE is the Maroon's halfback now, he almost scored a try from a clever play.
I keep seeing continual bashing of both halves (granted Thurston had some ordinary kicking options) but like 60 minutes of the whole damn game was bashing.
Both sides were playing like a team full of forwards, don't beat up on the halves because they couldn't get any space, it's basic physics.

This is also the reason why GI was average at center.
Forwards smashed = no space.
Not that difficult!

Then Hayne had a shit game 2....

And so did every NSW and QLD back..

Slater has been good this series, and I'm one of his biggest critics.

Inglis would be a bigger threat, I agree, but that doesn't negate the facts.

Some of Slater's takes of bombs last night were very, very courageous, and he made some good metres. I can't understand this continual harping, calling to weaken one position for a marginal gain in another.

We now have the concern of replacing Tate, which will further weaken the 3/4s. I'd say Copely will get the nod over Chambers due to his combination with Hodges, and some seriously good form of late.

Slater never hits the line on a kick return. Dive to the ground or pass to a winger in a worse position. At least Boatboy would return with aome punch.

I called Slater a cat last night and my cat ran straight at me to prove me wrong.

People really believe Inglis is a better, more consistent fullback than Slater???

The same Slater that tore Souths apart only a month or so ago and Inglis was .................
no where to be seen.

Sutton is a brain dead mong.
