RD 21: Parramatta Eels v Cronulla at Remondis Stadium 3pm 2/8/14

Well I'm keen to see how many times during the rest of the season we break this trend. I assume we will at least once, and if we break it enough it will be fair to say it's not really a trend at all.

Probably goes to show how close the comp is. When teams like the knights are beating last year's premiers with there best 2 players out and a coach on the exit shows how much of a lottery the comp has become

The only trend I've noticed lately is that after consuming a large amount of alcohol I often feel quite poorly the following day. Someone should come up with a name for this.

Edwards trained with the first grade team yesterday. I'd have to say we weren't allowed to name him because of his GC incident but I reckon he'll be a "late" inclusion

I hope so - I love this bloke!

He was one of our best against the Titans IMO. I love his skill, and his aggression in defence.

But why would we have been allowed to name him for the GC game? The GC 'incident' happened ages ago (unless there's been a repeat performance that I'm unaware of).

Slater is a protected species, he could took take a machine gun on the field and mow down 5 opposition players and still get off scott free.

The Eels will be 1-17, with Ben Smith (nose) fit and firing. Ken Edwards was not named on Tuesday due to a minor shoulder complaint. He is due back next week.

Well, Slater was not charged by the cops, and the cops said the other bloke threw the first punch.

Kenny was charged and plead guilty. And he has a sore shoulder appparently.
