He looks like an absolute boy amongst men of late. He is falling off tackles in defense and being hammered in attack.
Just can't justify the dollars we have forked out for him when to me he looks pretty ordinary compared to the other gun centres on his money.

Also, what's the go with BA picking VT on the wing, I mean pleaseeeee how many games has this bloke cost us in the past?

That scrum feed where we scored our last try had The Plane and Hoppa together... they both showed their superiority over their opposition... Firstly The Plane to hold the play up and then Hoppa to immediately pass the ball on. I reckon with what they both did inside I could've scored in the corner!

Scrum plays like that are what the Storm come up with, not Parra...

That sort of stuff is worth the price of admission...

Actually Hopoate is very strong in the legs and has great balance. He does fall off some tackles but his go forward is outstanding.

i still think he's playing with a f**ked arm - so he's doing well to just be out there ..... he'll have surgery in the off season for sure

I did post before half time :)
Yeah I figured he could still be injured myself, but I think he hasn't been all that great over the last prob 8 weeks. Agree Pou, but just of late he hasn't been that player.... must admit as soon as I posted this he had a better second half - I'll cop the flack for that.

At the end of the day what a f@cken ripper win by the mighty eels!!

I think he is a very good player, particularly running the ball, and has nice hands. However, at the time of his signing there was talk that he would be the future fullback and that we wouldn't be keeping Jarryd long-term. Well he is not in the same ballpark when it comes to vision, ballplaying and kicking game. If we can continue to afford him he is fine where he is.

Agree. Not full on bagging him out just an observation of his form of late.

Best game I've seen him play all year but the question you have to ask is why he played so well tonight? was he fired up to play his old club? and if so does he have an attitude problem?

Not convinced his first half was as good as the second, hence my thread at that time... just my opinion though

Hayne, Sandow and Norman were f**ked tonight.
Is it next week yet?

Suity
 Who cares if we get in early we might get out of the blocks to a flyer.

Jarryd Hayne is a lazy overrated slob who offers this side nothing, And Sandow is a worse half than Ben Kusto!!!!
