Yeah that's what I reckon, Arthur wants to try to keep our line speed pretty strong during most of the game. I reckon it's not so much degois will provide more then peats, but that who ever is lock (cough watmough let's hope) can't play the full 80 but peats can plus also play lock to.

I think with Watmough and one of the hookers we have line speed covered. Any more little blokes and we start to concede too much size.

If Peats isn't going off for a rest why move him out of dummy half?

You need to trust BA. He has the insights to the team and not us Merkins.

If he thinks this combo works, who are we to challenge him?

When I start saying 'the coach is wrong' or 'the coach should do X' then you can be a smart mouth merkin and throw my words back at me.

Until then you should learn the difference between second guessing the coach and trying to understand his decisions.

I liked what I saw of Mossop. Not huge but very strong and mobile. He was excellent in his first two games for us (consecutive wins over the Cowboys and Dogs) and then got injured early on in the loss to Melbourne.

What I would do is see what The Duke of Penrith does with there hookers.This year they dropped off too one hooker but mainly cause Kingston went down hill.They have signed a very good kid from souths.I expect he will make first grade.So lets just see what they do than copy them as they seem to know the best things to do.

Also thy have a young guy called Mosely.We should be going hard for him.HE can really play.A real livewire.Better than Kaysa IMO

What I found interesting about the signing of Api Koroisau is that he is the same type of hooker as Segeyaro (i.e. black). He might have been signed to come off the bench but more likely is that he has been bought as Segeyaro's backup in the top 25, and will only play due to injury.

As for Mosely, every club needs a third hooker (hopefully outside the top 25 though). We have Pritchard who is more like Peats and De Gois - i.e. a strong aggressive 80 minute defender.

We don't attack so much from dummy half the way Penrith do, so we don't need that type of hooker.

Hopefully he gets a good pre season in unlike last year.

Seems like a real level headed, mature personality from the little insight I've got from interviews.

He'll be a real bonus if he comes good next year.

Maybe that's why there in the top 4 and we finished 10th.Having an attacking hooker off the bench is deff a good thing.No point having de gois on bench IMO.He will just give Peats a rest and do 85% of his job.
Api is deff a first grade player and so is Mosely.Who also is similar to Segyaroo.
If I was going a second dummy half I would look at Kaysa more then de gois

Well Penrith had an attacking hooker off the bench last year and finished 10th, but this year they don't and they finished 4th.

So we probably finished 10th this year for a different reason, just as they certainly finished 4th for a reason other than having an attacking hooker on the bench.
