They would have even less foreign born players than the Australian Kangaroos or the English RL team

Pedantic AF, but theres more foreign born players in the AB squad (according to wiki), than there was in last years Aus WC squad. Probably more foreign born players in the Kiwis WC squad than both of them.

I actually edited that comment after reading it again...

I was countering the idiot who pushes this dumb idea that All Blacks are full of kids poached from the pacific islands.

The truth is that the All Blacks are no different to any other national sports team.

He didnt play Under 18 Origin. There was no Under 18 Origin when Marshall was under 18. Only U19s and U17s, he played neither.

Like already stated, he played Qld and Aus Schoolboys. Thats it. Goodplayer is a shitposter.

http://www.radiosport.co.nz/news/sp...calls-for-new-international-eligibility-rules
New Zealand Rugby League has renewed its calls for Australia to loosen its iron first grip on the international game.
Eligibility problems are back at the forefront of the game after a number of players were picked in two different international squads for the upcoming Four Nations.
NZRL High Performance Director Tony Iro says Australia needs to give up its powerhouse status for the betterment of the international game.
"It's not an international game without New Zealand, England and the Island nations so I think there needs to be some common sense around some new criteria."
Iro says the current guidelines are too murky with players able to jump between nations at an elite level.

What planet does tony Iro live on? Nz are just as guilty, if not worse than the other nations. Konrad hurrell tony?????

The NZ selectors will have seen what Dallin Watene-Zelezniak can do over recent weeks. They'd be crazy not to use him in some way, shape or form.

And as I type, DWZ has been named in the train on squad. He will most likely play for Penrith in the National Championship final on Sunday as well.
