being a very bias Panthers fan I got to pull you up there. from what I've read the legal system in NC is farcical and I'd wait for the trial with a jury. I still give him the benefit of the doubt considering he rang 911 and she confessed to taking cocaine that night.

The NFL is a lot stricter on these sort of assaults when compared to the NRL. Even Ray Rice's 2 week ban was much greater than South Sydney banning Kirisome Auva'a for 7 days in February for beating up his ex girlfriend, which he pleaded guilty for. Sentencing was delayed until October (funny that). The NRL were satisfied the penalty fit the crime. Which showed they and South Sydney are pro women bashing. Maybe they will have a special round next season with special jerseys made up for women bashing in league, with blood stains on the Souths jersey.

Normally I would say that would be on the money...

But with the pressure the league is under I get the feeling he's going to be suspended indefinitely until more is known about how the court action will take place.

It's a REALLY bad time for these charges to come up...

Kind of agree, been thinking of relocating, only problem being I would have to move to SF Bay area at least in the short term where my company is located which is bloody expensive. Anyhow I might be going to SF next month but it is a frigging bye week for the 49ers..
