The blokes keeping h out of the Raiders' fullback jersey were Dugan and Milford. It's hardly shameful to be stuck behind those two.

And then he got stuck behind Jordan Rapana at FB and bill tupou on the wing. No doubt he's shown what he can achieve but something not right happened with reese last season

I never said you wanted to bring INU to the club you pelican, you wanked on about Beale being a NZ international and i said who cares so is INU. A lot of ordinary footballers have pulled on a NZ jersey.

And a lot of ordinary footballers have won premierships. Unlike Jarryd Hayne.

Why were those guys contracted and Beale wasn't???
Why was Glenn Stewart off contract this year and Justin Horo wasn't? What a stupid question. Different players come off contract at different times.

Because he wasn't that highly rated. I remember him saying he was shocked that the Bronco's didn't want him. You think the Broncos would let him go if he was as good as you are stating???
The Broncos had far too many first grade backs already. I'm not saying Beale is a world beater - if he was he'd be too expensive. We need solid first graders, not stars. This will allow us to improve the whole squad.

And if you are happy to pay Beale a third of what Hayne was getting you are a f**king imbecile
I might be an imbecile but I know how the salary cap works and a strong 17 will beat an ordinary 16 plus a star player over 26 rounds.

But we also get two forwards and plenty of depth
Wait and see. We'll win more than 12 games next year.

I'll hold you to that Pou, i hope you are right i really do.

I just don't see it, might be best to cop a shit season and front load Watmough and all our best young talent and go hard for some big names in 2016.

Wonder if we will go for one or two captains next year.
Mannah and Peats if we go for co-captains

Robinson is better than Rapana and Tupou combined. He made the mistake of getting offisde with Sticky, that's all. He will do fine here whatever he's required to do, and the last time he genuinely had a go at fullback he was pretty awesome, and he can score tries with ease...it's pretty clear what his signing was about anyway. Sign the first decent option you can so you have something if it all goes further to shit, then put together a package for Folau and whoever else. You can't just replace Jarryd Hayne in a day.

On the subject of falling out with coaches, Crooks came here because his new coach at Hull KR didn't like him. He was Young Player of the Year the previous year and made the Dream Team, super talent and very much in the frame for first grade. 31 tries in 48 games at age 21, if a player did that in the NRL they'd never get out of the ocean of fanboy drool.

If we weren't to sign anyone, and assuming the worst kept secret in the game is true, I actually think we can field a solid side.

1-Hopoate
2-Radradra
3-Crooks/Champion
4-Morgan
5-Robinson/Toutai
6-Norman
7-Sandow
8-Mannah
9-Peats
10-Mossop
11-Ma'u
12-Watmough
13-Edwards

14-DeGois
15-Junior Paulo
16-Moeroa
17-Gower

That pack is pretty good. Backline isn't stellar but it will do the job if given space. Our main issue will be the halves having to step up. Having Peats back will help. Of course if we can't get Watmough next year it doesn't look as good, but we may still sign a genuine fullback too. It's too early after the Hayne thing to make assumptions IMO. Hell, anything could happen.

yeah - that something not right was called Ricky Stuart .... I wouldn't trust ricky's judgement in the slightest

reece aint no star, but he's a good player if given the opportunity

Bloody hell the side looks ordinary without Hayne. Now I find we have signed Reece Robinson!!??!! How long for?

That backline is chock full of mediocrity - plodders who only bazal and the parramatta recruiters think are passable.

If Ryan Morgan plays first grade it is a terrible sign.

In that side he would actually be one of the better players.

It's an embarrassment that we have signed and retained some of those blokes, hayne or no hayne.

The back five I quoted above has Hoffman, Hoppa and Semi - all above average players.

Champion can be decent and Robinson has shown plenty of potential before.

It'll be alright.

The one I'm most concerned about in the back seven is Norman.

I agree, i think we will still surprise a lot of people next year, big reason for that is BA.

I was talking to one of the players last night and he said Robinson will probably get a crack at the wing. He was actually telling me he is quite a talented player and had a bit of a dig at Sticky for not picking him much this year

It wasn't that long ago we were told that we couldn't win without Hindy. Players come and players go.

2015 hasnt even started, our squad hasn't even been finalised. We have $800k to spend. 2015 is far from a write off.

Hayne leaving could actually be a good thing for some our players, puts them in a situation where they will need to take control and play better rather then expecting some Hayne magic.
