the way i see that is that fui fui was zero chance of providing something of value to the 1st team as he was regressing.

mcpherson wicks and nelson may end up no better, but at least they have the potential to produce something at their age similar to david gower did this season.

similarly robinson and crooks could offer more than tonga and if they don't it ain't much missed.

Thats all fine if we we snag some talent to go with them, ATM we may get watmough, injury free he will add plenty but he is not enough especially after losing our talisman and best player in the game. Watmough will be the only guy who we manage to sign atm that will make any teams top 17. People who think otherwise are off with the pixies. And once again we will have to rely heavily on our juniors that worked a treat in 2013.

Cody Nelson made his debut at 26 and only did so do to the injury toll at the Titans

Tonga believe it or not has played more games than Champion in the past 4 years

Crooks played 12 games this year and scored 4 tries only

Reece Robinson, my mum is a better player than him.

Wicks hasn't played NRL in 4yrs

If and when Watmough is confirmed, he is undoubtedly better than any forward we let go.

I'm sure people would have be ecstatic if we let Kenny and the Chairman go.

It's not you mate's personal fault that our (previous) cap position meant that the quality of players we could bring in (while retaining the guys we wanted to extend) wasn't as good as some would like......but JH's salary has a fair bit to do with the lack of cap space that put in that situation (and again that's no criticism).

Interesting as he wasn't the first two wingers picked. He went well later in the season and has an amazing ability to get his hand free for an offload. I wouldn't mind seeing him on the wing but a few games in NSW cup first.

Champion over Tonga??? Both are injury plagued but Tonga played some damn good footy before injuries got the best of him.

Smith while well past it in attack was defensively still a rock and it is no coincedence that the last two games with him out we leaked points like a sieve. Nelson could barely crack the Titans side with a mammoth injury toll.

Crooks who knows about him?? He could be boom or bust, then we have a drug cheat who hasn't played in 4 years and a bloke who retired from a broken neck and who we let go 7 years earlier lol.

Kelepi's season was ruined by injuries go on his efforts last season when he was ROTY.

Then we lose the best player in the game the man the whole side has revolved around for the last 6 years.

I never mentioned McPherson, Fa'aso or Nelson as being first graders so not sure why you threw their names into the discussion. Maybe you can mention everyone else that runs around as depth reserve graders too. I also didn't put Robinson in my top 17 so havent got him replacing Sio either.

I agree. He has copped a lot of shit here, he is far from hopeless and runs like the wind. Certainly a better depth signing than Mullaney was.

We have signed depth forwards to cover for the young and inexperienced forwards we have coming through the juniors that got some FG experience this year but who knows how next year will go (thwy may have Kelepi type 2nd years). Moerao, Pauli, Edwards, Ma'u, Gower, Paulo will not be displaced by anyone you mentioned unless injury or major form slump occurred.

We aren't relying on bought forwards excluding maybe Watmough. We are relying on our juniors.
