Ben Barba to Canberra is a very real possibility lads from what I have heard. Stuart looking to play him from fullback. Raiders shaping up well if it all comes off as they hope it will.

I realise that this is all rumour based, so holds little water, but if he ends up in Sydney again or Canberra, then the next player to pull "compassionate grounds" should be publicly beaten.

It looks like Barba will be staying, but the Broncos are estimated to be offloading close of a cool million worth of players with Kennedy and Hoffman heading the list. Kennedy is a cert to leave.

Barba to Manly if B Stewart leaves was also mentioned somewhere

I think given the change in ownership last night at Manly, B Stewart will be going nowhere. Same with Watmough.

This could play havoc with retaining DCE however.

If that fat f*ck Peters is given any control I fear for the club.

Dogs supporters who like Dollar Des might want to start sweating a bit too....

The Broncos will definitely be paying part of Kennedy's contract next year, and possibly part of Barba and Hoffman's, should they leave. Apparently Kennedy is on $400k and has been linked to the Storm.......can't see them paying him anywhere near that amount. With some of the baggage Barba and Josh carry, they might be hard pressed to ignite a bidding war for their services this late in the piece. The cool million might be more like a handy half million. Or less.

Barba isn't leaving, Hoffman isn't on a lot to start with so he will likely be getting a big pay rise so broncos won't have to contribute anything, however they will likely end up carrying at least half of Kennedy's contract for next season to get him off our books.

I don't know if you'll be happy or sad, but Watmough situation won't change - he's off to the Eels. They will focus on the retention of Foran & Cherry-Evans which is the key to the future of the club.

I'd be happy to see the back of Watmough.

The petulance he's displayed is f*cking embarrassing.

But the factions in the club are amazing and Choc's buddies are back in control. It is a powerful thing.

And if they bring Hasler back I will be ropable. He's shown his colours.

They may foot part of Kennedy's 2015 contract but I doubt it. Reports say 4 clubs chasing him. They won't with Hoffman, his next contract will probably be a pay rise. As for Barba if he leaves which has been denied by his manager the Sharks are rumored to be offering Carney's money which again would be a payrise. You have to remember the Broncos have told these players they are free to leave if they can't find a deal then they can see out their contracts. So I doubt they will subsidize a cent of any deal.
