Barbas spiel was he wanted to be near his ex and kid.
Mustn't be bothered anymore.

Every situation is different... The NRL and clubs would be stupid to make blanket judgements.A f**king disgrace if true. No more compassionate bullshit. The NRL need to knock this crap on the head. May as well let the cat out of the bag on the Barba story as well if he's now coming back to Sydney.
You blokes think it's his decision to leave the Bronc's?
Creepin Jesus has left him no choice.

He doesnt have to leave. He can take their cash and play reserves.
Like I said... Every situation is different.Depends how much bs you can spin with your situation doesn't it. The compassionate bs has been abused by some. Needs to be stamped out.

Your speaking from the point of view of someone on the outside who has no real knowledge of the situation.
While I agree that there needs to be safeguards in place to prevent abuse... It's not a black and white issue which the NRL can 'stamp out'.
These are human beings we're dealing with here, there's no such thing as black and white when your dealing with people.
We've already had a number suicides from the young kids who have been coming up in the game, and while I'm not suggesting that each situation is THAT drastic... some of these kids are under a heap of pressure both on and off the field.
Sometimes the clubs will make a decision for the betterment of player instead of the club.
What I don't understand is why everyone gets all upset when one of these young guys request a move home... When it happens all the time with older players... I mean just this week the Warriors released Jason Bakuya on compassionate grounds... Yet no one has been upset about it.
