Just posting what an old timer told me. He has given me plenty of heads ups in the past.
Is this old timer in a position to know what Hayne would be feeling and thinking?
Not really mate. He is no longer associated with our club.
Then it might be just a case of wishful thinking.
Yep, his early release would have stipulated he not play NRL for any other club, until his contract was due to expire. Just like we did with Jamie Lyon.
Someone on TheFilthySpammers posted the same theory
After they read it here or before? If before that would be interesting.
It was before.
Isn't there an apparent offer on the table from nfl club? Wasn't it reported a few days ago?
Not that I take much notice of anything involving hayne anymore...
Fair enough...
I'm not expecting him to come back anyway somthing tells me that French rugby might be his next call if it doesn't work in America
yeah centrebet has a market for where he will be/start in nfl with 1.20 to not take the field, i think it was around $3/$4 for wide receiver running back then out to 2x that and higher for defensive positions. Thanks Whall. I was told that he is very homesick. Probably means shit. Interesting that there is a market for him not making it @ $1.20. That's Black Caviar territory. What's the odds of him making it? I'd assume $2.20.
i doubt french rugby would offer 3-4 mil $ to anyone. i think people over-estimate how much $ french rugby has to piss around. i reckon the top players would be on marginally more than what hayne would be offered in nrl. japanese rugby on the other hand are trying to pull elite players into their comp to give rugby a higher profile there leading to the world cup in a few years.Same stagger-Id say French Rugby -Would get 3-4 mill a year.
Doubt an NFL club would offer him a 5 yr deal
