When martz began drawing plays on the sideline towards the end of the game the Patriots d had no idea what to do. Except hold everybody that moved. Despite the cries of a few here the whole nfl community views the Patriots for what they are, a filthy, Cheating scum of a franchise.

This is Roger Goodell's MO. Protecting his guys, and Robert Kraft like no other owner is HIS guy. He practically handed Goodell the job. Handed the man 20+ million annually.

Goodell is a patsy. Look at his handling of all the major issues in his tenure. Spy-gate, Bounty-gate, the CBA, player safety, PED's, recreational drugs, domestic volence... I mean the man is arguably the worst commissioner in US sports history, he's at least in the conversation. Definitely the worst in NFL history.

He's spent a week getting slapped around by for this Ray Rice fisaco. He got sued for Bounty-gate. He ordered all evidence of spy gate to be destroyed, he's probably going to get smacked down for AP shortly, he has no working relationship with Demaurice Smith, and he ignored concussion for years, then all of a sudden started fines guys insane money for hitting high, whilst simultaneously pushing for an 18 game scheduale and insinuating to owners this would be great because it will make them plenty of money and create more injuries, there for keeping salaries down.

I know we've kind of off topic here, but Goodell is a f**king bum and his handling of spygate was the first of many missteps.

Yeah this is my pet hate with the NFL too. Every 2 or 3 plays someone gets 'injured' and they have about a 3 or 4 minute break between plays. It's nearly always just some fat lineman that needs a breather as well. Really gives me the sh*ts and makes it hard to watch a game live. I much prefer gamepassing and watching several games at once to avoid all that crap.

I think you're fighting a losing battle on this one mate, probably easier to just leave it be (although I was enjoying the battle too, but now realise we are always going to have two sides).

I can understand where they are coming from, as I'm much the same as these guys when it comes to the Roosters in the NRL - people can put up all the logical arguments they like yet I still find it impossible to believe they play with the same rules as everyone else. So for that reason, I realise that no matter what logical point you make, some people will always be skeptics.
