Anyone else having issues with live streaming in the app? Every time I go to start it I get an error message asking me to contact an email address. Have done so, but haven't received a reply.

They've just released the NRL Live app for Windows Phone 8.

Only if you can trick it into thinking you live in NSW or Internationally, but ive never been able to do it....

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.. I will delete it as soon as I have enough info anyway..

Does anyone have NRL digital pass? Can anyone tell me about it? Can I watch games live on my phone, or only replays? Are all games available to be watched live?

Cheers.. I will give it a go. Also probably a stupid question but I don't know much about this techno stuff.. If I am watching the game on my phone, does it chew data as well or is that what the $1.99 subscribtion is for?

If you use Chrome as your browser and have a chromecast, you could beam it to your TV from that. Just fullscreen the browser, hit the tabcast and boom. On your TV.

As anyone who uses it knows, the NRL's Digital Pass service allows you to watch live NRL at a very reasonable price without Foxtel, but due to licensing restrictions the video is limited to an annoyingly small window in the centre of your screen. However thanks to your operating system's accessibility features for the vision impaired there's an easy, legal workaround for this. I imagine a fair few of you have probably worked this trick out already, but for those of you who haven't, here's how to do it.

First, log in to Digital Pass as per normal, and launch the screening room.

For Windows users, use the Maginifier features to zoom in on the viewing window to full screen size:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows-8/use-magnifier-see-items

For Mac OSX users, use screen zoom to do the same thing:

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14083

Obviously the video resolution won't change so the image will be fairly low quality but it's still surprisingly good- in my experience at leas as good as you get from Foxtel Play on XBox or PC, at least on slower connections, and definitely better than watching in a tiny window. Anyway I hope you find this useful, I did!

I wonder if the NRL has stats on how many times the alert says "this match is a delayed broadcast, do you want to see the score" and yes is selected
It would be interesting... I often do this when my team has the 2nd Friday game (I live in Brisbane) or Sunday. I couldn't give a flying funk how the Broncos are doing. If the stats are high it begs the question for the next TV deal, why do would any game every be delayed again for Channel 9 if you are paying for the app called 'NRL Live'.

I'd love to see the stats on how the game is performing on TV for live and delayed games. We live in a world where people don't want to wait for a game and have to have a social media blackout just because Channel 9 wants to 'dictate terms'...

This thing is actually so much harder to subscribe to than it is to unsubscribe. Wonder if anyone has had the same issues (through iPad/app store etc)
