Lost opportunity??

What the f**k are you on about?? Who lost an opportunity??

We're talking about a 13yr old kid here...

A 13yr old kid should not be signing a footy contract anywhere... Including in there own home area.

These are basically anti-tampering and employment contracts...

In what other f**king profession do 13yr old kids commit to these types of deals??

It's f**king ludicrous... And morally wrong for a parent to sign these deals for such a young kid.

Sokka?

If we got him at 30 great, still 4/5 years left in the tank, otherwise pass. If a transfer fee didn't count under the salary cap he'd be worth a million dollar fee to land him for 2016 onwards. Club would make that back with interest easI'll in the first year with sponsorship dollars and increased membership and gate takings.

Checked out the link and started laughing at the video from Rugby HQ where some old dude was saying he hates how NRL players think they can easily make the transition to Union which apparently takes years to learn and he's not sure Inglis could make the switch. Obviously has never seen Inglis play, if they think Folau is good they haven't seen anything

Union may be difficult to grasp for someone like Rose who'd have to play in the engine room but it's a piece of piss for big elusive backs like Inglis. Michael O'Connor knows it only too well, I bet he wishes he could take League players to the Olympics and bring home the gold in the 7's. . . rahs rahs have no chance

Yep so true, Brad Thorn is the only forward I can think of that has made the transition between the codes. It's the reason SBW, Teo and Burgess are playing in the backs, they would get eaten alive in the rucks and mauls.

They've been astute with their figures.

You only have to research who Easts had to let go to fit everyone under the cap in the past few years.

People have to understand that the days of getting bCrown paper bags filled with money are over.

You ever tried to get an extra $100 to $200k and try to hide it.

You can't put it in the bank, you can't dig a hole and bury it for fear of either losing it or someone accidentally coming across it,etc, etc.

And money laundering is a very serious federal offense.

Dont be soo naive.

Roosters have been doing it for decades even other teams like rabbitohs would be guilty.

Heard about Burgess receiving some special gifts from crowe
