I am hoping that as the OP said we WON'T be happy that it is a leak from the club. The club is so far out of touch with the fans that would probably think that we would upset losing DFH or Neilsen or Farrell and it is one those on the way out.

That would be crazy to release him 1 1/4 years into a 4 year contract unless there was a special backup ready to replace him.
