If it is true that Widdop wants out , and Flo and Creagh may not be retained it makes a lot of sense , and thus freeing up some more cash for Merrin

Yep, it's just a ridiculous suggestion, playing as prop, concentrating on gettin quick plays, occasional offloads and tackling everything he brings great value to te team.

Agreed - Creagh has earned the right to finish his career on his terms as a one-club player. He is the heart and soul of the club and I would hate to see him get pushed out before his time ala Lance Thompson.

He is a true club man and I seriously doubt he would play beyond his use-by date.

For someone who started in the centres he has had a remarkable career.
True , both should go out on their own terms but does that really happen today in this cut throat results driven business ?
Even at prop he looks uncomfortable but is taking one for the team while being selected there
Providing they dont chew too much into the salary cap im sure they will be given every opportunity to extend , while some of these 12 month wonders and under achieving cutters and juniors will be shown the exit turnstile

Lets say the titans come up and offer Flo 500k or more a season ... are we going to go into battle to out bid them for a winger ?? Esp when we need at least 1 intimidating type forward and classy centre....
i cant imagine either player going elsewhere and hopefully they will become a rarity...one club players......but lets not get caught again paying overs..we are still paying for it now !!

If we lose Creagh or Nightingale, it'd better because they got an insane offer elsewhere. Watching Bmoz playing for the Bogs is stomach churning.
If the club makes it clear they do not have loyalty to players, then we can expect none from players.

Nah, just kidding. Don't agree though.
Must admit that this time last year I was concerned about where Creagh was headed, he wasn't providing a lot. Since then though he has remade himself and was our most consistent forward last year. And Nighty, well, he just keeps on being Nighty.
In this cut throat business based day and age I hope they are both able to be kept as one club NRL players at least, and get to leave on their own terms.
