The Superleague website. It's not outstanding, but it does have the option to change years. It doesn't store them for players though, so filter by side and show 20 or 50 to see the whole squad. All the basics are listed.

It shits on the NRL's own stats section from a great height, sadly.

Stevie Ward - 7/6

2014: 22 games, 515 tackles, 952 metres from 168 carries,
2014 per game stats: 23 tackles, 43 metres @ 5.6mpc

2015: 12 games, 486 tackles, 1017 metres from 147 carries,
2015 per game stats: 40.5 tackles, 84 metres @ 6.9mpc, 1 offload

Grant Millington - 6/7

2014: 23 games, 611 tackles, 1831 metres from 296 carries,
2014 spg: 26.5 tackles, 79 metres @ 6.1mpc, 1.5 offloads

2015: 11 games, 375 tackles, 802 metres from 134 carries
2015 spg: 31 tackles, 72 metres @ 6mpc, 1.5 offload

Looking for a 7/8 for Stevie and the same for Millington? Both are doing good this year,
don't have time to look through for comparisons just yet.

7/8 for Ward and Millington

I'll have to look more at Turner. Not sure he's an 8 from what I've seen, but I'll have a look later

I reckon he's an 8/8, stats probably say a 7/8.8-9. Either way a very classy player who's underrated at present.

Attack-wise he's far more threatening than most of the 8-rated second rowers from the SL, who are mainly rated off stats and workrate. Runs some superb lines and a lot of the time he ends up in space or with a quick play the ball. If there was a "great run leads to try a tackle or two later" stat, this bloke would top it. Alas there isn't, so I'll give you what we do have -

86m per game
31 tackle busts (~3 a game), pretty good for a forward.
7 clean breaks
16 offloads

Average of 36 tackles a game, at 96% efficiency (i.e. about 1.5 tackles missed a game). His raw tackle count of 401 is 5th in the league, behind three 9s (Roby, Ward and Houghton I assume is a 9, if not should be), and that efficiency is pretty darn good.

He's been moved to starting at lock quite a bit this season, which would have hurt his attack and improved his defence playing in the middle of the park - hence my suggestion of an 8/8.

Defence
Josh McGuire - Defence 7 - 911 tackles - 95% tackle rate - 38 tackles/game
Trent Merrin - Defence 8 - 686 tackles - 95% tackle rate - 33 tackles/game
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves - Defence 8 - 766 tackles - 92% tackle rate - 29 tackles/game
Aiden Tolman - Defence 8 - 698 tackles - 98% tackle rate - 33 tackles/game
Matt Scott - Defence 8 - 554 tackles - 96% tackle rate - 28 tackles/game
James Graham - Defence 8 - 982 tackles - 95% tackle rate - 35 tackles/game
Nate Myles - Defence 9 - 644 tackles - 90% tackle rate - 36 tackles/game

Again, easily an 8 in defence. I'd be tempted to push Myles down to an 8 and move McGuire and Graham up to a 9 frankly.

Looking for an upgrade to a 9 def for Graham. Whall's stats looks the good.

Really? Graham plays 63 odd minutes, hits like a cement truck and gets through 35 tackles a game, amongst his attacking efforts with hit ups.

Surely he's a 9 in defence? Keen to hear why not.

Minutes don't really hold a lot of water when you consider most props don't play a great deal of footy to begin with.

That said, it's more a case of most of the guys listed above being overrated at 8.

I normally think of the 38-42 range as a 9, but I'd err on the side of a 9 for Graham in hindsight because he manages it despite being ginger.
