It all depends on if Kahu re-signs. If Broncos keep Kahu they will be willing to release Copley from his contact.

Kahu offers more than Copley, if you asked me before the season I wouldn't of been disappointed to lose Kahu but he offers so much versatility in our backline

Copley is a good player and has shown that a few times but he has a few errors in him as well

So the Chooks get Paea and Matagi pre the 30 June sale? Is that correct? Even with their wall to wall rep squad, and the best young talent raped from every other NRL clubs junior systems, they STILL have money left over in their cap!!! Amazing... and no alarm bells ring...ever..:sarcasm:

Copley was in great form last year and he has made the emerging Maroons squad the last few years.

This year he hasn't been as good as Reed, the team is winning so its not necessary to change it and he's had some injuries.

The bit about being being hundreds of thousands under cap is a bit hard to believe.

If you publish and official list of of what each player the squad is making under the cap and TPA's I will believe it.

Due to TPA's the cap is a total farce and always has been, hence all arguments about squads being over or under the cap are pointless.

I'm not saying any club is cheating, but it is not a level playing field, and to be honest, I find it hard to imagine how we can get a level playing field.

Mate baggage has nothing to do with a players market value, their would have been a number of clubs after his signature, just like Carney, his market value never goes down because he screws up off the field because its all about demand and supply. So do not tell me the Rorters are paying him unders because he came with baggage. He may go their for slightly under market value because their strong club but he would be still on good money, even if it is not reflected on the ledger
