Very soft effort tonight but suprising im not upset, doesn't hurt at all now

3 Kata
2 Lisone
1 Maumalo

That's all I got

No it doesn't. I was hurt for about five minutes when we looked like we could claw our way back, but then soon blew our chance.

3. Kata - a bit of a comeback there, we know he's a talent but...
2. Lisone - rookie season in a position where players peak in their early 30s
1. Tomkins - scored a try, at a crucial time. Pity they didn't rock on from there.

Don't know why I'm bothering. But

3. Gubb. Brilliant pass. Did anyone else pass or just drop the ball?
2. Tomkins. Just for his effort.
1. Kata.

Negatives all over the paddock. Forget about injuries these are our top 25 players. They are supposed to be professionals. Sorry, I have to say it - Mannering is not the captain for this team. After the second try by Penrith standing under the posts a lot of the players were looking at Mannering. He didn't say a word.
How did we ever let Taylor go? He was superb leading Penrith.

To be fair Brown sucked in 2012.
I didn't have a problem with ET but didn't rate him as "Luck + Benji" as some did

3. Tomkins
2. Lisone
1. Kata

Nobody really deserved points though, generally flat and useless across the park

I just can't give points.

Have to say though I'm very disappointed in Tui at #7, think we need to give Lino a go next week. Never looked like scoring really, 2 flukey tries

He should of been sniffing around people like that every game but he seems to be afraid of getting involved. Tomkins should of followed the blueprint Brent Webb was famous for. Support play everything, sniff out that opportunity but he will just hover at the back being the link man with the passing. Can't wait for our upgrade in RTS to show up in Penrose. 2016 is going to be special

Honorable mentions Kata and Lisone.

That game was as horrible as I expected. But meh. I think I said a week or so ago we should go for gold and have both Johnson and Tui in the halves next season. I officially retract that statement.

The ABs were awesome, just as the Warriors have reached the pits, albeit an improvement last weekend. As a Warriors and league fan it was all bittersweet.

However, those with longer memories will recall the extra special bile spat out at our All Blacks after each failure at five continous world cups. It will have happen again in October, you watch. Not a gauranteed All Black loss but a storm of criticism directed at the team and coach if they lose.

McCaw, Carter, Nonu, Hansen, Wayne Smith, etc, may go down as badly as the Whetton brothers, Kirwan, Wylie and Hart.

They should be enjoying their current 'superman' status while they've got it. As a Warriors fan there might be a hint of schadenfreude too.

I'm not so sure Blair, I don't sense as much 'desperate expectation' this world cup as previously. We have two now and are no longer the 'chokers.' There will only be large amounts of national bile if we have a disaster and bomb out horribly, but this team, if they lose, they will lose tough. Quite unlike the warriors in that regard. Reasonable supporters realize how hard it will be to win the cup in England.

Stoked I have a September/October of exciting high stakes footy to get behind (World Cup).
