What was good in 2015?

Now that my angst over 2015 has mostly subsided, what good things to people see happened in WT 2015 season? I am still not going to get a membership for 2016 and will use next season as a decider for spending any more $$$ on WT membership and products, however I see the following positives:

* Glimpses of form by Moses and Brookes, although I’d say neither have fully made the transition to NRL at this stage.

* Tedesco has continued his good form and been great at fullback in a generally dull and uninspiring team.

* The change to strengthening and conditioning staff has made a world of difference. The squad, such as it is, has been able to train and play together pretty well all year round without extended periods of missing players through injury.

* Taupau and Woods have been mainstays of the forward pack.

* Cherrington has emerged as the natural successor to Farah (whatever the Farah’s future with the club)

* Lawrence has transitioned to backrow from centre and has shown the ability to hold a position there.

* The club, ceo and board showing determination and backing the coach in making hard decisions.

* Clearing the squad of dead wood and underperformers.

* Attempting to fix the salary cap problems.

* Harry T publicly saying he wants to help the club.

I agree but I thought Woods and Taupau could have been better. Woods is close to being a plooder and Taupau while great wasn't consistent throughout the season.

I think we are honestly close to being a good team. If Moses and Brooks kick on we can be a good team.

lol are you serious? Woods and Taupau were epic

I'm serious. Taupau had plenty of great games but also too many quiet games. Woods is not a dynamic forward.

They are both great but we need more from them. We need more from our forwards overall but these two guys should be leading our pack.

Woods doesn't exactly strike fear into people but is consistent and big marty has too many quiet games for every game he destroys other teams.

If only we could combine them both. :D

Woods has to use those little passes before the line a bit better. Sure using them every know and again as a surprise element is fine but toward the back end of the season he was trying it too much. Run the ball hard son!!

* Tedesco outstanding.

*Got rid of Mayer (looks like they realized they sacked the wrong bloke)

*JT gave some ripper yarns to the press. Some outstanding yarns.

*Rocket Reddy being groomed for head coach 2017

What, you believe anything that hack writes?

My mail is Rocket impressed Marina and the board with a 30 min long PowerPoint presentation detailing his two magnificent years coaching the Rams.

The black and gold pie chart won her over, as did his promise to introduce 'the most winningest culture that ever won', and it's a done deal ala Johnny Lang.

Only issue now is JT's having trouble getting the blood stains out of his karate outfit.

You heard it here first.

I think the differing opinions Re: Woods stems from him having a very distinct two halves to his season. Pre-origin he was leading the Dally M. Post-origin it was like having 2 Plod Galloways in the side.

Gee, I dunno, he makes a lot of sense. Also, a mate of a mate runs a dry cleaning business and apparently it is well known in that industry about JTs problem getting the blood stains out of his karate outfit.
