Yes. That is correct.

So if, say, Mannah was on $300k, Morgs was on $80,001 and Terepo on $100k (total $480,001) and let them all go, our Salary cap expenditure would only fall by $180k. So to break even in cap terms, we'd have to replace them with 3 blokes totalling $180k (which is not possible due to minimum wage stuff....but you see the effect).

There is nothing official about the option is there? I reckon there are loads of player and club options in there that we don't know about. So I only go on what is reported.
